Deep garnet ruby color with black and red fruit, hickory, rooibos tea, pepper and a hint of cola aromas. In the palate it’s elegant and fresh with fine grained tannins and red raspberry liqueur, ripe blackberry, boysenberry flavors accented with rooibos tea and savory spice flavors. Long finish
The grapes from the vineyard were split into two lots–one was pressed at dryness, while the other saw 30 days of extended maceration on skins to help round out the classic Amador tannins (a technique we usually reserve for Cabernet). The final wine is 68% extended maceration and 32% what was pressed at dryness, with the majority of the wine aged in 600 gallon foudre.

This is a wine with lots of spirit, spunk, and spicy Zinfandel notes. I think it's one we should have tried a long time ago to have these traits and the depth of a Bedrock wine. I really like it. It's typically dark in the glass as most Bedrock reds are. It's very clean and has a wonderful mouthfeel. It shows no signs of its age either and was drinking just fine for us.

sweet tannins, ripe fruit, but excellent acidity keeps this in balance. Perfect bbq wine that can handle sweet, smoky ribs. higher in alcohol and you can feel that after the 2nd glass. a very good zin
