The wine has evolved very positively - it used to be a kind of fruit bomb, and I was afraid about its future but right now the fruit is still there while tertiary aromas have definitely developed - the nose in particular was very nice, the palate a bit less so. Although the nose was very toasty, it was also showing coffee as well as animal notes. The mouthfeel was silky and round. Very enjoyable, especially at that price point!

QPR tasting #1 (Frankfurt): A more evolved bottle than the one I had 2 days before - still a lot of fruit but masked a bit by oak. Also starting to show tertiary aromas of coffee and leather. This one was a bit too oaky for my taste, but it had all the "funk" I was expecting compared to the very fruit-driven previous bottle. a really good QPR.
