  • Vintage Burgundy Tasting. Drank in Grassl Cru.
Appearance is clear, pale intensity, ruby colour. egs.
Nose medium intensity, with aromas of dark red cherries, dark earth, smoked meat, bit of leather. Developing.
On the palate, dry, tart high acidity, medium alcohol, medium+ tannins, medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of dark red cherries, black cherries, dark earth, light smoke and meat, old leather emerging. Long leathery finish with mildly rustic feels.
Good quality. Some seriousness but not so easily drinkable on account of the tart acids and rusticity.

  • Bottle breathe for 1 hour. Great nose with strawberry, some flower. Elegant and smooth, with fruit, wood, smoke and medium finishing. The wine continues to develop in the next 2 hours, and peak at around 1.5 hours in the glass
