clear pale yellow. nose was crisp refreshing and citrusy .. very little yeast or biscuity notes on the nose but it was hiding in the background just a little. maybe needs a little more time in the bottle? on the palate bright acidic and ready for any food you could put it with. crisp linear and citrusy. fine bubbles in the white wine glass we served it in. again, a solid winner from the Biltmore Winery. Sparkling Wines are what I personally think that the Biltmore Winery is doing best.

Pale yellow straw color with plenty of pinprick bubbles, that dissipated somewhat quickly. The nose offers biscuit dough, green apple and lemon peel aromas. On the palate, it's medium-bodied with a moderately creamy mousse and apple, pear and hints of hazelnut and lemon flavors. Short finish

Served as an aperitif, quite foamy on pouring. Nose very slightly fruity, moderate, light. In the mouth the first sensation is quite dry, citrusy, bordering on tart; it gives the impression of well crafted, reminiscent of a Cava but without the character nor the core depth and flavors of a good Champagne. It translates into a short, hollow and tart Crémant - as if made from Ugni Blanc - that begs for Chambord or a fine Crème de Cassis.
