4.5 years since my last bottle. Pop and splashed into a decanter. Much improved since the last bottle. Red and black cherry with a touch of chalk dust/crushed rock and some dry leaves (that could also be caused by the four hours I spent raking such leaves today!). Definitely still lots of tannin here. Much improved but still unwinding. @short and confused, maybe time to try another bottle and let me know if you agree!

Agree with ScottGoodwin. I love this producer and have liked the bourgogne. This was is just pretty rough right now. Vegetal and tannic. I have 3 left. I'll hold off on them.

This was a little weird from the start. Nose had a chalky vegetal almost acetone note. Blew off mostly. Sappy, pine tar, chalk on top of red tinged black fruits. Finishes with fairly grippy tannins. Body has decent heft for a basic Bourgogne. I think (hope) this might just be shut down. Not giving a ton of pleasure right now.
