Deep golden in the glass. A restrained nose, but not subtle. There is a fair bit of fruit here from ripe peach to pear and guava. Body is medium with bright acidity and a lot of texture to complement various dishes you throw at it. Beautifully aged wine and not stopping yet. Value!

interesting expression of Verdejo seems to be more ripe or maybe even overripe. Not bad but wasn’t what I was familiar with. Stilll enjoyable just different than my regular experience with Rueda Verdejo.

This is evolving and inproving quickly with age! A grassy semi bitter verdejo is turning into a gold colored honeyed rounder almost burgundy like white. Delightful.

Tasted over two days. Compelling bouquet of green apple, pear, quince, carambola, and oak. Expansive and gritty, showing impressive weight and a strong sense of malolactic fermentation. Well structured and long. Less oak would have put this over the top.
