  Light ruby red color with violet hues. On the nose earthy notes, black pepper, ripe blueberry, ripe cranberry, porcini notes. Light-bodied, soft tannins, medium+ acidity. Could age for a few more years. Enjoyed with oven baked trout, red potatoes and mustard mayo. Excellent pairing. Good value from Franken.
