  • What a great find… Uncovered as I reorganized some bottles in the cellar. Pop and a pour from a .375. Enjoyed with a late afternoon steak so I wouldn’t have to eat what they serve me on the plane tonight enroute to Brazil.

Dark colors with no evidence of bricking. Tar, cigar and dark fruit deep into the nose, along with a hint of tea leaves.

There’s more fruit here than structured, which isn’t surprising given the softness of the vintage, but it’s still quite well balanced and really extraordinary for a 2010

More dark berries on the palate, And in spite of the lack of structure or backbone to the wine the finish is slightly dry. While I am glad this was my Last Bottle as I believe this needs to be drunk now to be enjoyed, this was really a pleasant surprise. Trust pass – well not well known – continually pleases, although at a higher price point then I’d prefer to pay.

  • What a beautiful wine. I decanted this for over an hour and it definitely grew in intensity during that time. Perfect ruby red color, was a little surprised it wasn't darker. Nose had a little heat and hints of smokey Bing Cherries and licorice. This wine starts off very silky smooth, with a velvety structure that covers the entire mouth. Flavors of cherries and currants with a little worthiness that gets a little brighter as it washes over palate, finishes with dark berries - black and blue - and nice Smokey anise. It coats entire mouth and doesn't want to let go. Fantastic.

  • Rediscovered two 375’s that were previously noted as missing; this is a year or two past it’s window, though still drinkable with modestly seasoned poultry, pork or fish.

Nose is port like – tar and syrupy, much like a rich Shiraz. The port notes don’t continue as heavily on the pallet, but the flavors are still over ripe fruit with a brief mid-palate finish. Have one more bottle which I’ll finish shortly.

  • Great bottle to come across in the cellar. Pop and pour from a 375, minimal air. Dark fruit, vanilla, heavily toasted wood and tar on the nose. Perfectly balanced at present; just enough depth and structure, just enough dark black and blue fruit. Modest sediment at the end of the bottle. Glides effortlessly over the palate with a medium-dry finish of black fruit preserves that lasts 25+ seconds,

  • Decanted 375 and followed over 3 hours. Dark, rich color with an early boquet to match, accompanied by spice and heavily toasted oak / vanilla pipe tobacco. Nice balance of fruit against modestly sweet tannins. Just enough structure to hold this for a few more years, but the blackberry, dark cherry and leathery flavors hold firmly on their own. In a really nice place, great showing for an inconsistent vintage.
