Current remarks about this wine tell me provenance is everything. I had a bottle tonight and it was lovely, great fruit balanced with acidity and firm tannins. Complex with good length. Another well made wine by a value for money McLaren Vale producer. I bought this wine in 2004 and it has been in an air-conditioned cellar since purchase, hence my emphasis on provenance.

Did not really pay attention to this wine. Nothing that really stood out other than the acidity, tannins and alcohol. The wine itself was quite thin and weak. Fruits have mostly disappeared and acid and alcohol dominated. Some very faint lingering bright red fruits which i suppose is from the Grenache and slight floral undertones which comes from the Mourvèdre. To sum up, a typically uninteresting Aussie styled wine. Most certainly over the curve.

This is well beyond its best. My bad...kept it too long. It was totally alcohol dominated, with all the fruit long gone. Not enjoyable at all now. We dumped it and moved on. Lesson learned about keeping some wines beyond their 'best before' date.

Nice, still good drinkable. Probably for another 6-8 years.

Still had a lot of dark fruit on the palate with a strong bouquet on the nose. Aged well in the bottle! Recommended...
