Beautiful flowery nose with some citrus and peach. On the palate a perfect balance of fruit and acidity, pear, stone fruit, cantaloupe and great mineral notes towards the end. Already drinking amazing but will even gain over the next two years in my opinion. Definitely one of the best 2014 Riesling I had.

Meiningers Finest 100: International Wine Summit (Saalbau, Neustadt an der Weinstraße): You immediately recognize that this Kirchenstück is from a different vintage than the two other GGs before. Much leaner but also vinified with great focus & tension. Kirchenstück like Pechstein has this dark soul. Of course still way too young. Give it at least 5-8 years cellar time. The 2015 Kirchenstück will appear on the market next year.
