Metodo classico, but quite different from those from the north. Plenty of biscuity notes on the nose, with grapefruit, crisp pear, elderflower, blossom, sweet almond (think almond croissant). Medium acidity means it’s not as fresh as it’s Franciacorta and the like, but it’s interesting enough on the nose and palate that it’s worth a detour.
