Very deeply fragrant aromas of forest floor and crushed berry. Spiced black fruit, mulling spice, white pepper, sour cherry and smoked oak hold the midpalate with medium body. Finishes short with some astringent black fruit and more oak. Nice but to be honest was hoping for a bit more here

Classic Dehlinger structure and flavour but with a touch more sweetness and litheness than the entry level Pinot. Nice as a sipper but a great food match too, lovely with a rump steak.

Deep ruby and loaded with dark cherry fruit that is accented with notes of orange zest, rhubarb and baking spices, this medium-bodied Pinot has excellent freshness, well-woven oak, silky tannins and nicely integrated alcohol (despite being listed as 14.9%). Dense on the mid-palate and lengthy on the back end, it is showing beautifully at this point and should continue to do so for another 3-4 years (or more). Drink now-2025.

My last bottle of this vintage. A very nice Dehlinger, excellent body, fruit forward. Nice example of the Russian River Valley.

Typical cola and deep cherry flavors from Dehlinger Pinot. Great Russian river profile.
