My first Pinot Meunièr, I believe, definitely first domestic. Black cherry color, with whiffs of tar, barnyard and sour fruit. Lighter body, with really great acidity. Dry, but not gritty, with a cran-cherry tartness this on the back palate. Pretty tasty, and went well with charcuterie.

Light bodied, a high acid but settles down nicely after 30 minutes. Nice everyday wine for a hot day.
