Tasted at Caviste, Hampshire, UK, hosted by owner and winemaker Ray Nadeson. A rarity of taste a 100% pinot meunier. Good fruit on the nose with a slight smokiness. Dry and chewy palate, well balanced. A pleasant wine. Having tasted this 100% pinot meunier, I'm surprised that there aren't more winemakers who make a single varietal wine with this grape.

GMs - Kevin Farewell @ GC: Bright nose - sweet red fruit like raspberry, cherry and redcurrant. Medium depth, with good acidity. I'm not sure what will happen with age but it is worth trying now.

Not where I expected to encounter a P Meunier...
Dusty strawberries on nose
Ripe cherries, lovely acidity, finishing with long bitter cherries
Interesting experiment, more character than I would have expected from previous PM in Australia
