Clear ruby red color, aroma of berries and leather, balanced flavor with light tannins on the tongue which slightly increase on the somewhat short but very pleasant finish. Nice food wine for subtly seasoned meat/chicken dishes.

It was the throw-down "red" at the table. Cedar and red and black currant. Completely dry, like sucking on tanbark that had been marinated in balsamic vinegar and grape seed oil.
Not undrinkable I guess, but not enjoyable.
I drank the throw-down "white" at the table instead. Not a good wine night...
