Lovely light and lean style, even 9 years in. Fine bright cherry, highly acidic and needs food for sure. I don’t know if this will ever get deep and complex enough to warrant a higher score, but it is enjoyable wine now in the right context. Needs rich fatty food.

Tasting room visit - root spices, cherry & black raspberry, hibiscus, sandalwood, mineral. Rich medium density with nice secondary and fruit balance. Medium plus acid and fine structure. Nice complexity and spice on the finish. Very nice.

On both nose and palate the raspberries are in the front seat but there are also darker notes from blackberries, licorice and herbs. On the palate the acidity is soft and with a tingling sensation and the fruit gets a sweet touch. Very pleasant and easy to like Pinot Noir.
