Deep ruby color persists With red and black fruit on the nose and palate. Some herbs on the finish. Was a great match with the wonderful Salmon dish my wife made. Unfortunately it was my last bottle.

I really enjoy Anderson Valley Pinots, and was looking forward to this, but this bottle was off. The cork fell apart on opening. And the wine showed a lot of bricking, bordering on brownish in color. It also tasted like a very old wine, slightly sherried, but not so much as to be obviously bad. In any event, I assume this was just a bad bottle. NR.

Decanted for about 30 minutes. Spectacular.

From magnum. Dense herb, plum and cherry. Medium-bodied with a lingering, coating finish. No mistaking the richly extracted California pinot style.
