  As I inhaled the aromas of this spectacular wine, in m y mind I was bought back to our tour of the estate with the owner. The vineyards are on two sides of a hill. Both are now considered Gran Seleziones. This wine showed exactly why I believe that Chianti Classicos are some of the most underrated wines in the world. This wine had saveriness, tar and leather on the nose with some hints of dark cherries. On the palate it was rich and unctiious. This finish had the classic Italian acidity. A great food wine, a great wine.
