  • Has aged well and just right for drinking now, with the 15% alcohol covered by the intensity and depth of the fruit. Deep garnet colour, aromas of herbs and plums, more plums on the palate with lots of black pepper spicing it up, lovely textured tannins, good long red berry finish.

  • This deep ruby wine (a blend of 50% Grenache, 35% Syrah and 15% Mourvèdre) offers a ripe array of red and black bramble fruits, buttressed with notes of licorice, Provençal herbs and baking spices. Medium-to-full-bodied, low-to-medium in acidity, judiciously oaked and with nicely integrated alcohol (despite being listed as 15%), it wraps its flavors with silky tannins and is dense in the middle. Finishing with impressive length, this is drinking at its hedonistic apex. Enjoy it over the next 2-3 years. Drink now-2023.

    Tasted non blind.

Garnet to dark garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of lilacs, plums and berries. Flavors of plums, berries and cherries. Medium acidity, medium tannin, medium to full bodied. Drink over the short term.

  • Served at 16 c. Had one 6 myths ago and found it then quite harsh, strong and way to young. Now it has developed a lot.still got a least 4-6 y. But already showing typical rhone qualities like pepper, licorice both strong and sweet and all the herbes du provence you would like. Thank God I'll get a new load of different wines from this producer next week. Otherwise I am not sure I would be able to leave a bottle or two of this for the longer haul....
