  • Third and final bottle in the last few years.

Tasting note from the producer: "Rich concentrated aromas of black cherry, plum, mint, cedar, and chocolate that lead into flavors of black raspberry and vanilla. The wine is big and bold and was created to enjoy now, or for many years to come as it will age gracefully."

More mature than my previous bottles. I did get cherries, plums, mint, and oak but also raisins and tobacco this time.

  • Very well made merlot from columbia valley. Definetly on the fruity side as expected with notes of blueberrys, red fruits and a little bit of a funky creaminess here. Some oak adds a nice complexity and balances the fruit very good here without being dominant. I really enjoyed this one. Perfect drinking window...Dont wait!

  • Even better than the last bottle. More concentrated, dense. Occupaying your tongue for a couple of minutes. Superdark color. Thick and oily texture. Velvet finish. Intense. Not yet fully developed. Many more years ahead!

  • My last bottle and by far the best! Even in a better place than it was two years ago. This is just a wonderful wine, and a great example of what can be done in Washington! From bouquet through a complex finish theres a melange of spice and chocolate. Just some gorgeous juice!

I did not get any vanilla notes to be honest but definitely agree with the black raspberry, chocolate and boldness.

This is still prime drinking window imo and should stay there another 5-7 years easily."

I liked it even better this time!
