If this can be my de facto chard I will be happy. Strong honey scent immediately from the pour. Lovely body, the oak is not felt although you have the sense that it help make such a nice rounded finish I get white rocks, tiny amount of salinity, low acidity and melon finish.
Deep straw color with measured l, restrained balance of minerals and oak on the nose. Slight CA butter notes upfront but a fast finish. There is more acidity than traditional CA chards but creates a nice node towards European wines

This was mostly excellent - with, for me, some caveats. Fresh, refreshing, balanced Chard. Clearly a CA Chard, but thankfully with excellent acidity and freshness. Some almost saline notes on the palate. I loved everything about this wine, but for its nose - due to a bit too much oak, which just got in the way for me. Not bad enough to preclude me from very much enjoying this wine though. In fact, I wish I had more so I could revisit in 2-4 yrs. Perhaps the oak will mellow out?

This was drinking well from the get go, and last night continued the trend. It's still very fresh, with that lemon curd note everyone talks about remaining the dominant fruit element. The oak is well managed and plays a light supporting role. It's not really noticeable, but if it wasn't there it would be missed. What struck me last night was a deep, persistent saline tone on the palate. It was not just a hint, it was a co-equal with the fruit. Mountain stream freshness was a mountain stream of salt water. Captivating. I have a glass+ left in the bottle. I wonder how it will show after 24 hours.

Great energy - that lemon curd thing which I’m starting to think is like an Enfield signature.... just a bit of oak offsetting the acidity nicely. Well done.
