Deep ruby with garnet on the rim. Mineral, floral, anise nose. The mouth is full of dark fruits on a persistant anise finish. Silky and still vibrant. Open the next one in 2016 ! (The #5th opened out of 12). Great juice Mate !

Dense and concentrated with a dark, inky color. The nose reflects a musk like an olde world red. A powerful Shiraz with characteristics of rich blackberry, tar, boysenberry, fresh earth and black plum. Secondary flavors reveal red currant and dried herbs. The main focus of taste in this wine is the sweet and delicious black licorice. Tannins are refined and well integrated, but this wine has a while before it's at it's high point. A long and detailed finish cloaked with pretty cloves and a dash of black pepper.

Nice spicy Shiraz with a nice balanced palate. The palate is rich, straddling that place between good fruit concentration and tannins. It stays on the same course at it opens up, perhaps becoming more creamy on the mouth feel. I popped (twisted) and poured this one and consumed over dinner and through the evening that followed. This is a wine that could be enjoyed by all. Very nice.
