good but not great. butterscotch on the nose; a streak of lime on the palate. Lacking some of the complexity and finesse one hopes to see in 1er cru meursault. at close to $60 from garagiste, I'm not sure how much of a deal this was.

Maybe, maybe waiting a few more years could be more sublime, but wow, who could? Big-boned, but refined. Buttery, followed by peach/lemon. Balanced, and long.

Pale gold. Very aromatic. Butter scotch and bruised apple. Some floral notes. Nice rich mouth with good acid. Perhaps the trip effected this.
