Slo-oxed for 10 minutes. A straw yellow color. The nose was reticent but did yield touches of oak and citrus. The medium to plus palate showed lots of lemon and oak spice, some stone fruit, and touches of minerality. The acidity was juicy but seemed to outrun the fruit. Not sure how this wine will hold and may already be past its peak. Overall, to us this wine was over-oaked and not the kind of Chardonnay that we prefer.

One of the best chards I've had in a long time.

The wine features a unique terroir, along with great acid and concentrated substance. Well crafted and balanced. Delicious!
