  • Brought this wine to Tunglok Teahouse (Square 2) for a wine dinner with my wine mates. Theme of the evening: White wines from Bordeaux.

Straw yellow in colour. Beautiful concentration of flavours on the nose: aromatic white stone fruits, vanilla, and toasted nuts. On the palate the wine is clean, crisp and focused.

A very flavourful wine which is not too cloggy. Do give it a try if you come across a bottle.

  • Opened a bottle at Bedrock Bar and Grill over lunch today with my best friend.

Beautiful concentration on the nose with notes of dried straw, white stone fruits, cream, vanilla, with a long dry finish.

    Wonderful. Simply wonderful.

  • Opened this wine at Chao Shan Cuisine over lunch with a very close colleague to celebrate a birthday. We had braised goose with tau pok, steamed baby squid, fried lala with chilli, pan-grilled prawn, and boiled trotter.

Pale straw green in colour. Faint notes of floral, eucalyptus and white stone fruits. A beautiful aroma of avocado on the nose and a buttery complexion on the palate. Beautiful long finish.

This wine was a good pick with the food selection.

  • Opened this wine today over lunch at Golden Spoon with my best friend from the university days. We have coffee pork ribs, golden chicken, thai-styled tofu and KL hokkien mee.

Straw yellow in colour with notes of vanilla, nuts and cream. Some minerals and dry grass notes in the palate. On the palate the wine is still lean, clean and fresh.

The shape of the glass probably affected the experience of the wine; we were given cocktail-like glasses with a large mouth.

Lesson learnt: next time, bring our own glasses to Golden Spoon.
