Medium gold colour. Medium nose with pear, ripe lemon, butter, pastry, salty sea and wet stone. Medium taste of yellow apples, pear, ripe lime, walnuts, toast, pastry, butter, wet stone and sea salt. Long and dry finish. High acidity. Medium body. A very good Saint-Romain that is well matured. Needed an hour to open. Drink now or over the next couple of years. Goes well with fish or shellfish.

final bottle of this and it has been excellent every time. Needs lots of air to really get going. Ripe apples, salted lemon, lime blossom, crushed nuts, a touch of mushroom, and just dripping in crushed rock minerality. mod+ acid. no hurry to drink
Lots of funk on the nose. Minerality and wet concrete abound. Steely acidity punches harder than expected considering the age. Crisp bright finish that went very nicely with BBQ grilled vegetables & kabobs. Good length on the finish. Overall a tasty, but not spectacular Chard. I'm interested to see where this goes in another 2-3 years.

“The electric palate is medium-bodied, ultra bright, and bursting with minerals and savory citrus panache - enough to make you salivate profusely and demand a second glass.“-Ian Cauble, master sommelier
