  The whole package nicely captures the essence of the Chardonnay varietal. Honeysuckle meets vanilla, tree sap, pear, apple cider and citrus with a bit of typical Michigan terroir thrown in. Judicious use of oak nicely rounds out the ripe fruit. Maybe some lees action. The acid layer makes it's own contribution towards the finish after the fruit has filled your palate.
