Reminds me of Jug wines of old. Sweet , fruity, a bit of alcohol on the finish. California requires 75% of the wine be made from the grape on the label, my guess here is the other 25% is Muscat ( sweet), maybe a bit of Welch's thrown in. Ended up cooking with it, the dish needed some sugar and this did the trick. Kirkland is supposed to represent value, this one hits the price point ( cheap) but that is it.

This wine has an unpleasant sweet rotten apple flavor. Avoid the 2015 and buy the distinctly better 2016 vintage of this wine.
