Pale yellow, big nose of green apple, almond paste, wet stones and lemon, sweet on the attack with gripping acidity, spice, mineral notes and passion fruit, finish is lengthy with citrus, baking spices and tart acidity

Visit to Domain Weinbach (Kaysersberg, France): Only slightly aromatic. Light, delicate orange peel, adequate acidity, off dry. Beautiful balance, which always seems like a tough challenge with this grape.

Spot on Gewurtztraminer. Delicious and great balance of sweetness, bitterness and Gewürtz flavors. No sign of decline.

I just loved it with spicy Indian food. Fantastic delineation and balance. The acidity, when chilled was pronounced, and became subdued as it warmed.
