Decanted 1 hour before serving. Rich dark fruit profile upfront (mostly blackberry). Smooth and savory mouthfeel mid-palate. Well integrated tannin structure throughout and enough soft acidity to stand up to a roast beef dinner. Spectacular with chocolate moose and raspberry dessert. great now and still has a few more years in the bottle.

Dark color in the glass. Medium bodied. Nose of cedar and wild mountain blackberry. Front palate of subtle vanilla followed by blackberry and plum with slightly tart red currant with some acidity and fine grained tannins on on a moderately lengthy finish. Very nice, layered wine. Definitely a wine to pair with a rib eye or NY strip steak. Drinking nice now, but still has plenty of life left. (Drank another bottle on 3/20/21 - no change in tasting notes. If you have a bottle have it with a steak. Also pairs nicely with dark chocolate!)

Dark garnet in color, this wine reveals blueberry, plum and cigar box on the nose. The mouthfeel is full bodied with tight tannins and creme de cassis and vanilla undertones. The higher 14.9% abv is noticeable but integrated.
Brought by my bosses son to a local BYOB, this wine has great bones but we erred by not decanting it first. It got better and better over the 60 minutes it was open and re-tasted.

Nice cross between the winery's spicier cab and their lighter fruit forward bottling. Nice bouquet upon opening, lighter tannins and berry tones. Beautiful finish. Can drink now but maybe hold for a little while. Worth the price.
