This bottle was hot, disjointed. The nose was at times reticent, versus searing heat. The fruit was brambly and stewed. This wine, along with its Seghesio step-sibling, were purchased upon release and stored side-by-side. On Day 2 it was a mess. Needless to say, the Seghesio smoked it.

This is classic Zin. The wine is spicey, tarry and filled with flavors of dried black berries, cherries herbs.
