Has been 3 years since my last bottle. Decanted 2 hours and it still needs at least this. Very tight upon opening. Black cherry, blackberry, vanilla, anise aromas. Great balance. Black cherry, blackberry, vanilla, anise, cedar. Still not overly complex, and lacking the depth I expected by now. Smooth tannins in the long finish. Expected more.

Decanted 2 hours and it needed it. Tasted when it was opened , and it was tight. Improved with time. Very dark. Great aromatics with black cherry, blackberry, vanilla. Great balance. Lots of fruit with black cherry, blackberry, vanilla, anise, cedar. Not overly complex at this point, but really nice. Smooth tannins in the long finish. Will hold my last 2 bottles for another 3-5 years at least.

Opened the bottle (pop and pour) and It starts off with a nice purple color, but the color was not as deep and brooding as I anticipated. On the palate, quit subdued and light, muted dark blue and blackberry fruit and a little flat…. So, give it some air and what a difference that made. This Cab was considerably better as the flavors of this wine came to life. With ¾ of the bottle left, there will be more to say about this wine. 89-92 points now.
DAY 2: There was some improvement, but this wine should rest in the cellar for further development. All in all, a pretty decent bottle of wine with a hefty price tag. If you drink it sooner rather than later, give it a nice decant. I did enjoy drinking this wine and perhaps I will have greater appreciation for this Cab down the road as I do think there's so good potential with bottle age.
Very ripe notes of squishy plum and blackberry jam. There's some vanilla, sweet cedar and tar too. It has plenty of power but the motor it too grunty for the drivetrain, it doesn't have the structure to be able to get the power to the ground. The finish is too sweet and soupy, there's no freshness or energy and it lacks relief.

Tasted at their tasting room in St. Helena. Beautiful, creamy textured wine with black cherry, blackberry, and boysenberry fruit. Wonderful mid-palate, supple tannins, and a wonderful long finish. Great juice!
