Deep ruby. Light nose of very faint cinnamon and a hint of violet and the faintest hint of vanilla. The nose really took 2 hours to start to open up. On the pallet ripe cherry and a touch of currant. Mild to medium acidity. Dusty tannins. Pleasant but not particularly long finish.
This wine is pleasant and agreeable and easy to drink. “Agreeable grey” comes to mind. I wouldn’t bring this to a friend’s house, but would definitely feel good about busting it out for pizza night or as a second bottle of the evening.

Nose: Cherry with light spicebox, light(er) projection.
Mouth:Tart, brassy, unripe cherry has reign through the mouth, turning sour as solid acid turns the fruit into a finish of light tobacco and dried herb. Sour cherry keeps firing long.
Overall: Blend is seeking after a baby-super Tuscan, but the execution isn't quite there. This in general reads as rowdy and overly young, though I wouldn't expect it to necessarily get better with age. Supposedly 10 months of oak is here, but that doesn't show as having tamed the fruit at all. Perfectly drinkable, but preferably had with food, as it really doesn't stand up on its own. 45% Sangiovese, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot .

This is OK. Drinkable, but nothing special.
