Demure, and I wanted more pizzazz from this... nice and classically built white Burgundy with gas left in the tank, this was a pleasure but I expected more. Aromas of spice, flowers and white and yellow fruits: cloves, ginger, vanilla, fresh butter, white flowers, lemon, apple... tart and medium in body, just a little terse and diffuse on the finish, plenty of fresh fruit and minerality to keep it lively and easy to drink, but it falls a little flat overall. It's balanced and far from tired, so it may improve over the next year or two, I dunno, it's hard to tell.
Next day was better, with more precise citrus notes, orange and lemon.

Started the night with this and cheese / charcuterie and this was spot on. Got raves reviews from the guests. Phenomenal QPR at $28/bottle, wish I had 6 more of them. Relatively elegant, well balanced, and previous tasting notes are spot on.

Lemon pith and oil, underripe pineapple, white peach. A touch of flowers, cream, cereal and oak spice. Medium bodied, textured and gripping. Long finish carried by fiery acidity and minerality. Classic white Burgundy with great QPR, beats many Cote de Beaune that are double or triple the price.

Classic white Burg nose of lemons and stinging acids. This doesn't quite have the density and extract of the best Mersaults but it's damn close. Good grippy acidity is matched by lovely smoky lemon flavors which lead to a complex finish with notes of flowers and minerals. Quite well done.
