This medium ruby Pinot offers aromas and flavors of black cherries, smoked meat and spice. Medium-bodied, freshly acidic, softly tannic and with well-integrated alcohol (13.5%), it thins on the mid-palate but does resurrect a medium-length finish. While serviceable at this price point, the use of the descriptor "Reserve" on the label is perhaps the most flagrant abuse of the term since the creation of Kendall-Jackson's "Vintner's Reserve" Chardonnay in the '80s. Drink this one in its youth, as I do not anticipate significant improvement with extended cellaring. Drink now-2020.

Fairly one dimensional Pinot...tastes inexpensive. A bit over oaked but with some dark, ripe cherries.
