Thought this was a nice, balanced California chardonnay. Light golden in color. Aromas of pineapple, yellow apple, papaya, sliced almonds, and a touch of fresh herbs. Pretty full body, medium(+) acidity and finish, and flavors of lemon, green apple, pear, pineapple, and a bit of caramel and mineral. Solid effort and totally worth the $25 paid. Worked well with shrimp & grits. 90-91

Nice touch of subtle oak. Hint of butter from some malolactic fermentation , but this is mostly Granny smith Apple and fresh fruits. Drinks well now. Probably not going to need additional aging to be at its best.
