  “Spirits of the World” (non-blind), Spirit 3: This Armagnac was medium amber in colour, with an olive-green tinge at the edges. It offered grape, orange peel, cardamom, black pepper, nuts and mushroom on the nose. On the palate the Armagnac started sweetish, with orange peel, nuts, tobacco and a hint of dark chocolate, a smooth mouthfeel, some heat from the alcohol and good length. This full-bodied, medium-complex Armagnac had good concentration. Solid.
