Best after a few hours of air, big dark fruited, some spice, a hint of licorice. I would not have guessed Mourvèdre if blind, almost more new world cab like. But very good.
I don't post very often and am far from a pro-wine guy. But I drink a lot of very fine wine and I gotta tell you this is very good wine. 100% Mourvedre. WOW. I am glad I have 3 more bottles.

Thursday Night Football with Walter (49'ers vs Seahawks). Walter brings this and indicates it had been decanted for 2 hours. Purple red in color. Nice nose, but to me it is initially reticent on both the nose and palate. After an additional hour, it begins to blossom with a flowery nose and dark fruit in the mouth. Some of the inital chalkiness remains. I save some for my dinner the next day. This was even better than my last glass on the previous evening. Still a nice bouquet with some ollaleberry pie flavor and some beef au jus nuance. I also got a touch of cardamom. Good body. This should age nicely for a while.

My most enjoyable Andremily wine to date!! Needed a good 2-3 hours of air to really shine! I enjoyed this over two evenings. Big and bold for sure but balanced with notes of dark blue and black fruits, meat juices and spices leading to a full dense palate.

Gave it an hour of air...explosive nose, though found the wine to be light on its feet...medium, smooth finish...very nice.
