This was a very good showing for this wine. bottles a few years ago were pleasant , but seemed to speak more of potential. Here it seems realized, aromatically expressive, full in flavor without being heavy, with enough going that I suspect it could age longer, but I doubt I'll have the wherewithal to avoid the last bottle. Previous bottles were 90-ish points, this bottle 93

From magnum. Incredible black cherry, tea and spice. Intense, but at the same time restrained and perfectly balanced. The wine delivers its stuff without undue barrel influence, then subtly exits and lets me fondly think about it. Am astonished tonight by, out of nowhere, one of the best OR pinots I've had this year.

Tasted alongside the 2014 Big Table Farm Pelos Sandberg Vineyard Pinot Noir. Advanced with mature plum, currants and cedar notes (whereas the BTF shows brighter red fruit, tea and Asian spice). Perhaps unfair to compare these 2 bottlings to each other. 2 bottles and 1 magnum left for sooner than later consumption, hoping for better showings.
