  • Aromas of watermelon, strawberry and cherry. Flavors of watermelon, strawberry, cherry and blood orange. Ends with a nice finish of 20 seconds with watermelon and blood orange notes. Great acidity on this and a year older.

  • This is still drinking well a year after our last bottle was sampled. Great example of some of the special wines being produced on Long Island.

  • Appearance - a lovely medium minus salmon color (blush). Clear. It looks pretty in the glass.

Nose - you need to close your eyes. You definitely pick up both red and white notes, the blend is what makes it so lovely. Ripe fresh fruit. Citrus of a perfumed fragrant white with the sweet ripeness of red berries. Sweet and tart on the nose with a perfect balance. You get a bit of the lemon curd with confection sugar bars. A little baking spice on nose, buttery crust. Nothing overpowers but is blended to something fragrant and lovely.

Palate - clean, youthful, fresh, pop of acidity keeps it real. Flavors are what I get on nose in terms of the fruit blend. Not picking up any of the baking spices or butter. Balanced, great mouth feel. It's medium, goes down very easy. Nice tingles on the palate and the finish is medium plus. Get slight bitterness on finish. A green feel, grassy maybe. Alcohol is medium minus at 12% on bottle. Slight frizzante on palate as you sip. It's an interesting wine in how it plays in your palate. Wonderful crisp minerality. The wine maker seems to have pulled the best features out of his blend of grapes.

I'm a huge fan. It's a perfect summer rose wine. Wish I bought more.

  • Dry Rose with plenty of fruit flavor on a structured finish. This is a phenomenal bargain at half the price of the vineyards Summer in a Bottle Rose. Would highly recommend this as a summer sipper.

  • I will join the praise. It's delicious.

    Appearance - pale salmon, clear.

Nose - ripe sweet pear. Strawberry, sweet raspberry, a little lemon scent on the nose, it has a nose where the more you smell the more you get. A little bit of the sea.

Palate - ripe melon on the palate. That is what I get. Drippy ripe melon. In fact, there is a local melon you get out there,we always knew it as Montauk melon. This is what you taste. Fresh, burst of acidity, everything well balanced, youthful, medium on palate. When you swallow it's when you get the spritz of acidity which is perfect as it beckons for another taste. Slight black pepper on finish medium minus alcohol that is well integrated.

This is yummy. A perfect summer wine, and even if the weather is not cooperating, it brings summer to you. Well done.
