Samantha’s Garden (Clare Valley) vs Bella’s Garden (Barossa) vs Harriet’s Garden (Adelaide Hills). An interesting tasting- identical winemaking technique, but different vine locations. The Clare Valley and Barossa has similar perfumed nose. Both are concentrated, mouth-filling wines flushed with blueberries, plums, and violets, but the Clare Valley has a more complex, rounder mid-palate sensation with a longer aftertaste. In contrast, the Adelaide Hills has a completely different flavor profile. Less fruit intensity than the other two, with wet mushroom, iron, and raspberries on the palate. A great experiment in South Australian Shiraz’s. 95 Samantha’s Garden, 94 Bella’s Garden, 91 Harriet’s Garden.
