Decanted for 2 hours. Dinner at Miller and Lux. Very aromatic with notes of blackberry, licorice, graphite and cassis. Super silky, borderline plush palate, red and black fruits delivered in layers. Complex and constantly evolving palate that was thoroughly enjoyable.

Concentrated, fruit forward with intense blackberry fruit. Terrific complexity with notes of cassis, dark chocolate, violet and graphite. Beautifully made with great balance between the rich fruit and its active tannins. Still relatively young wine, this will benefit from a two hour plus decant.

Powerful aromas of blackberry, violets, black cherry, licorice and graphite. Definitely a carefully crafted wine with complex flavors of licorice, black cherry, raspberry and mocha. Velvety tannins with a 30-second finish.

Manursing Memorial; 5/27/2022-5/29/2022: The 2015 CCS To Kalon impresses with a pronounced nose, a silky palate with just the right amount of tannic grip, and a more elegant, balanced, integrated profile than I've experienced in any other Schrader. It stumbles on the finish, where an otherwise long and joyful experience is cut short by the heat of the 14.5% ABV, and on complexity. If you really look, you can find hints of chocolate and minerals hiding behind all the cassis, plum, and blueberry, but it'll likely be another 3-5 years before they move into the foreground. No matter; these bottles have at least two more decades of life in them. If drinking now, decant for a minimum of three hours.

Just superb. 5 hr decant. Well integrated. Just enough glycerin. Perfect fruit. Could drink all day
