  Beautiful, concentrated ruby with soft, clear edges. Low viscosity and sporadic legs. Aromas of plum, blackberry, cocoa, and licorice with some earthy forest floor. Palate is gentle on entry with moderate acidity and finely grained tannins. Dark fruit is complimented with roasted cinnamon and clove. Finish is long, tart, and drying. Quite lovely with a meal and on its own. Paired with ratatouille and herb roasted chicken thighs.

  Smokey with pepper and red berries. Smooth fine tannin but a little too sharp on tyhe finish with the acids giving this a lingering sour note. Drink now.
