Hdr Closing Tasting: Its been a while since I had any of this. Dusty nose with black raspberries and pepper. On the palate, not over the top. Nice black raspberry fruit. good acidity. Need to revisit these.

This is more than adequate value for what it costs, but I find the wine somewhat flabby and jammy. It could just be that I prefer a more old-world taste profile. I nevertheless would recommend this wine to fans of the style.
Tastes like an Aussie Shiraz from McClaren Vale. Big blueberry, but slightly tart. Dried herbs as well. Dry and fairly long finish here, perhaps a little cedar coming through? Not a juicy Barossa, but enjoyable and tasty nonetheless. 88-89 pts. Day 2: a little dusty, riper blueberry, a little toasted nut (hazelnut). Rounder and better today. 90 pts. Decanting this for 30 minutes probably not a bad idea. Overall: 89-90 pts.

Good value high quality Aussie Shiraz. Better than many better known McLaren vale options. Recommend!

Lovely nose, tending more towards fruit than tar. Balanced on palate, finishing very soft
