The wine looks deep ruby colored. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like cinnamon, clove, burnt, oak and vanilla. It tastes like prune, blueberry and alcohol/hot. The body is medium/full. The wine has silky texture. The wine finishes short. The wine has low acidity. The alcohol is just so so high and there is so much spice. Really dark. Would have never thought this was a pinot. Usually like Walt's this was far off what we are used to.

Packs a punch on the sugars and alcohol. Syrupy, tending towards black and bramble berries, including casis. I lean more toward the light-bodied PNs, so this is a bit overkill for me.

Came across as sweet and over extracted after finishing off a slightly better than average 2005 Chimney Rock Stags Leap Cabernet Sauvignon. Once my palate re-adjusted this PN was as fine as ever. Still a bit sugary for my tastes usually but at the end of the evening that's OK. A bargain at $27

Dark purple in color. Jammy nose. However, it had an usual flavor that prevents me from scoring the wine higher. It wasn't terrible by any stretch of the imagination, however it was just ok.
