This wine is rocking, impressively young and vibrant. I drank it in two stages, the second time (10 days after I siphoned off a half bottle and recorked/refrigerated in a 375ml bottle) was even better than the first. Deep dark cherry liqueur middle to end, with great savory streak that lends balance and keeps it fresh. I’ve had other 91 Meo, and I think they crushed this vintage.

Musique & Vin Festival BYO Dinner (Chateau de Meursault): Small glass, brief note. a clear step up from the (flawed?) 1993 in the next glass. Bright red cherry and berry with savory spice and dried herbs. Pristine and well textured. Moderate density, but so persistent and elegant.
