Jim's Retirement Party (Libertyville, IL): I brought this for my friend's retirement at the age of 65, so with 1957 as his vintage. As great as previous bottles, with some fresh fresh and dried apricot, sweet spice and poached pear. Very sweet without anything cloying.

Wine tasting. Medium brown color. Candied apple and super ripe peach on nose and palate. Intense fruit but not cloying, with a very honey-like finish. Great acidity gives increased energy. Super impressive, a friend and I decided to bid on this wine at the following day's auction and bought the case.

Peach and apricot with good intensity and subtle spice. Very powerful, long and amazingly textured. Beautiful wine.
