I'm learning that this producer seems to operate with a light hand. Not that this is a bad thing; just something I'm noticing across a few different bottlings now. It's like a Burgundy lover's sangio. Medium ruby color and fully transparent. Aromas of red fruits, smoke, and tar. Light to medium body, medium(+) acidity, medium finish, and flavors of red fruits and a bit of leathery, dry spice on the backend. I'm getting a little tannic grip post meal that I didn't really notice with food, which suggests to me that a little short term cellaring might be ok for this one, though it's a fine pizza/pasta wine for now as well.

Easy to drink but average. Not standing out.
