  • Wonderfully balanced Chablis, notes of citrus, white flowers and pears on the nose this leads to a palate of ripe pear citrus tart, pear, nice round flavors with a good solid finish. This lingers in the palate as the well balanced acidity plays with the citrus fruit. Drinking perfectly now however would like to revisit in a couple of years

  • Pale straw yellow. Citrus-forward and herbaceous nose of lemon peel, golden apple, and slight butter that instantly tips you off to Chardonnay. SUPERBLY well balanced. Medium bodied, medium acid. Fruit picked at the perfect ripeness. Not overly mineral or oak-driven. Not a lot of distinction for the vineyard but makes you want to drink more. Shocked they serve this on AirFrance and the BA Concorde Lounge at JFK. A great bottle for the price point!

  • Chablisienne = long lees aging and 100% Malolactic.
Now there is some character to this wine. Mineral water palate. A close talker. Musk melon fruit on the palate.

  • Flying l'Yonne; 8/29/2017-9/1/2017 (Irancy - France): I like that tremendous punch if compared with M de M. This is mineral to the bone.
Masculine, mineral and Dixie rebel, just how I feel Fourchaume. Powerful, showing a insulting muscle and at the same time a perfect harmony. A nice Chardonnay expression to my humble opinion. Pay attention prices are rising. This is reasonable ...

  • By the glass at the BA lounge NYC. Not sure when this was opened.
Quite a nice, bright , mineral and elegant Chablis . Almost textbook, restrained on the oak, good texture and just very good to drink now. Solid wine and a good 90. A lot better that then 2013 we tried a year ago and rated 86, so maybe a wine to have younger than older.
