  • Quite dark in the glass. Nose a little shy at first, black cherry fruit and forest floor earthiness.

Palate is soft, low acidity and little evidence of tannin. Black cherries and that forest floor earthiness again. This comes over as quite developed. Delicious and easy drinking. Not sure about the 2030 drinking date TWS gives it, I'd say drink up sooner rather than later.

  • Dark for Pinot.
Inky hint of iron on the nose also some coffee, chocolate kind of nose.
Ripe fruit on the nose and palate. Really good quality sweet fruit. Almost fruit bomb like which I found slightly overpowering and detracted from this wine.
It does not have sweet Pinot nose I seem to find in pinots I really enjoy.
    Full bodied. Spicy long finish.
Tannins were not the fineness but I sense a hint of stems which gives it good freshness. I think more acidity would make it a bit more balanced.
Obviously good quality but not my glass of wine for the moment.

  • We have opened a few of these over the last couple of months - all who have had them have enjoyed them. Light, red fruits on the nose. Quite light but with a nice finish. Very easy to drink. Will hold a few bottles back to see if this develops any further.

  • Nice bright red fruits on nose. Seemed a little closed and didn't give too much away. Slightly off balanced on palate. Better on second night with red fruits and some spice. I wonder if this needs more time to balance out and become a bit richer.
